A chance to meet some of the local candidates on the November General Election ballot is set for Thursday, October 3 at 6 p.m. CT at the Nancy J. Dembowski Community Center at 55 E. Lake Street in Knox.
The Starke County Chamber of Commerce, City of Knox, The Leader Newspaper and Kankakee Valley Broadcasting’s WKVI Radio are hosting the event and community members are invited to submit questions for the candidates. Questions may be emailed to starkechamber@gmail.com or drop off questions at the WKVI office at 400 W. Culver Road in Knox until 3 p.m. CT Thursday, October 3.
If residents cannot be in attendance, the event will be broadcast live on WKVI 99.3 FM. The broadcast can also be heard live on wkvi.com or it can be viewed live on the WKVI Facebook page.
