The North Judson Town Council members were updated on the Town Park improvement project when they met this week.
The final additions are being included at the park with grass and officials are doing equipment checks. A substantial completion walk is planned to make a punchlist of items to make sure all is ready for the end of the project.
Town Manager Joe Leszek said the park will be done by the deadline of October 31.
The council will be selecting a date and time for a ribbon cutting ceremony to officially celebrate the improvement project.
The park has several new features including sidewalks, a walking trail, two pickleball courts, a pavilion with picnic tables, permanent cornhole boards, and beach volleyball. The basketball court was also resurfaced. The park is located at the corner of Weninger and George Streets.
