A Trunk or Treat event is planned for Sunday, October 27 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. CT at Wythogan Park in Knox.
Register businesses or non-profit organizations by contacting Dennis at dfornelli@cityofknox.net, Shannon at info@starkecountychamber.com, and Peggy at ptravis@cityofknox.net.
Businesses and non-profit agencies may set up trunks in the park and pass out treats to children. The line-up begins at 1 p.m. with trunk set-up at 1:30 p.m. CT.
Following Trunk or Treat, ABATE will host a costume judging contest at the Nancy J. Dembowski Community Center in Knox beginning at 4:15 p.m. CT with judging at 4:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served. There will be prizes for children in several age groups including infant-3 years, 4-7 years, 8-11 years, 12-16 years. There will be awards for Best Group/Family costume.
