The Starke County Plan Commission will meet tonight where they will review the Commercial Solar Energy System submission from Hoosier Solar for the North Bend and Starke Central projects.
The commission members will also consider waiving a renewal fee, and review a complaint from Susan Lange. Lisa Dan is expected to invite the commission members to a workshop.
The Starke County Plan Commission will meet at 5:30 p.m. CT tonight followed by the Starke County Board of Zoning Appeals meeting at 6:30 p.m. CT.
The board members will open a public hearing to consider a Developmental Standard request by Adam Sworden to build a second dwelling above a detached garage on one parcel that will be one foot from the south side of the property. The district restrictions indicate that there can be one dwelling per parcel and be five feet from the side property line in an R-3 zoned area. The property is located at 5373 S. State Road 10 in Knox.
Both meetings will be held in the ground floor meeting room in the Starke County Annex No. 1 building at 53 E. Mound Street in Knox.
