Enrollment has increased at the North Judson-San Pierre School Corporation, according to Superintendent Kelly Shepherd.
Shepherd said, “We experienced a nice rebound on enrollment and our October 1 reporting date has us for 918 students. That is up from the Spring count where we had 888.”
Shepherd added that the board also approved an 8th grade field trip to Washington, D.C. in a partnership with the 8th grade students from Knox Community Middle School.
“That was one of those things where he had a great partnership many years ago and it was one of those things that kind of went away during COVID and now we’re able to bring it back. We want to make that available to our students and the board agreed with that.”
