The Knox Redskin Brigade competed in the Indiana State School Music Association State Marching Band Finals at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis Saturday, November 9. They came away with a runner-up finish behind Lewis Cass High School.
This year’s show was “The Light Within” led by Director Craige Phipps and Drum Majors Garin Phipps and Serynitee King.
The Redskin Brigade performed against nine other schools in Class D.
The band was led out of town to the competition and welcomed back to town by an official escort by the fire department and police officers.
