The North Judson Town Council members were notified of the resignation of long-time Town Councilwoman Jane Ellen Felchuk during their meeting Monday, November 18.
Clerk-Treasurer Andrew Rowe said Felchuk is resigning for personal reasons and it was a tough item to bring before the council given Felchuk’s history of exemplary service on the council. He said she will be missed and the council gave their comments of appreciation for Felchuk and thanked her for her many years of service on the council and to the North Judson community.
Rowe said Felchuk gave notice earlier in November. Democratic Party Chairman Lonnie Boley told WKVI News that a Caucus to fill her seat has not been scheduled, but that notification should be coming this week.
