The North Judson Police Department was notified of an accidental shooting on November 20 at approximately 3:10 p.m. in the area of Cherry Street and Garfield Street.
The initial investigation found a male juvenile had been struck with a single bullet. Police say the victim was flown out by helicopter and was in stable condition at the time.
The investigation is ongoing.
The North Judson Police Department was assisted at the scene by Starke County EMS, Starke County Sheriff’s Office, North Judson-Wayne Township Fire Department, and Lutheran Air.
