The Pulaski County Council members discussed salaries and increases during their recent meeting.
The matrix involves a 2.8 percent cost-of-living increase to full-time, part-time and elected officials.
Part-time employees are now included in the matrix which reflects a pay scale of two steps lower than the starting rate for the full-time employee version of the position.
The matrix passed with a unanimous vote.
When part-time wage increases were discussed, Mike Tiede commented that he did not know how much the increases would be for the county and wanted that number before he would vote on the matter. There was discussion that it was estimated at $140,000, but different totals were given. In the end, Ken Boswell, Sheila Jimenez, Jeff Richwine, and Jerry Locke voted in favor, while Tim Overmyer voted against it. Mike Tiede and Brad Bonnell abstained.
