Veterans and community members are invited to attend Veterans Day programs at local schools Monday, November 11.
The Knox Community High School program is at 9 a.m. CT and those wishing to attend may enter door 12H. The Knox Community Middle School program is at 10 a.m. and those wishing to attend may enter door 13M. The Knox Community Elementary School program is at 6 p.m.
The Oregon-Davis School Corporation will host a Veterans Day program and luncheon Monday, November 11 at noon CT at the Junior/Senior High School. All veterans and their families are welcome to attend. Call 574-867-4561 and RSVP to Nancy Noble.
The North Judson-San Pierre Elementary School students are working on a service project this month and the corporation is participating in the Soldier Angels’ Holiday for Heroes program. Each classroom will be filling a stocking with treats and gifts to be distributed to veterans in Veterans Homes, military bases, and those who are deployed.
Veterans Day programs at the Eastern Pulaski School Corporation will take place at the Elementary School from 8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. ET and at the High School from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. ET.
