The Eastern Pulaski School Board discussed girls wrestling during their meeting last week, according to Superintendent Dara Chezem.
“The school board recognized girls wrestling as a sport here at Winamac Community High School,” said Chezem. “That will allow girls that are participating to be eligible to letter. We currently have six girls participating and there are five matches scheduled. Mrs. Lauren Reames is our volunteer coach.”
Chezem said the board also thanked the outgoing board members for their years of service.
“The school board thanked Beth Ruff Crawford and Scott Hanson for their dedication, hard work and leadership during their time on the school board. Beth has served since January 2017 and Scott from January 2021. Their commitment to the success and well being of our students, staff, and community have made a lasting impact.”
