A North Judson man was taken into custody Thursday, December 26 after a lengthy investigation by detectives with the Starke County Sheriff’s Office.
Sammy D. Bottorff, 31, was identified as a suspect in an investigation related to sexual abuse of a child. As a result of the arrest, formal charges were filed against Bottorff by the Starke County Prosecutor’s Office.
Bottorff has been charged with three counts of child molesting as a Level 1 Felony, and three counts of incest as a Level 4 Felony. No further details will be made available due to minor victims being involved.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
