The North Judson Town Council welcomed a new member Monday, December 2 as a result of a Starke County Democratic Party Caucus.
Alex Windbigler was the only candidate to file an intention to fill a vacant seat with Democratic Party Chairman Lonnie Boley. Windbigler was affirmed to fill the vacancy by the two Precinct Committeemen eligible to vote, John Silhavy and Andrew Rowe.
Following the vote, Rowe swore Windbigler into office and Windbigler attended his first council meeting later in the evening.
Windbigler takes over the seat held by long-time North Judson Town Councilwoman Jane Ellen Felchuk who resigned in November.
