The Oregon-Davis School Board members approved Teacher Appreciation Grants for the 2023-2024 school year.
Superintendent Bill Bennett said 39 employees qualified for the grants. There were 24 teachers that were rated highly effective and 15 rated as effective.
To be eligible, teachers must have taught at Oregon-Davis the previous year and received a rating of effective or highly effective on their Summative Evaluation for the 2023-2024 school year.
Teachers rated highly effective receive 25 percent more than teachers rated as effective per state law. This year teachers rated highly effective will receive $643.75, and teachers rated effective will have $515.
