The Pulaski County Commissioners and the Pulaski County Council members will meet in joint session tonight where they will have several items for discussion.
Treasurer Teresa Bryant will discuss the LIT-Economic Development CD renewal, Community Development Commission Executive Director Nathan Origer will discuss the courthouse renovation project and year-end CDC updates. A representative from Lightstream will ask permission to build fiber optic in the Pulaski County right-of-way and Claude LeMere will discuss Pul-Mac matching grant program.
An appointment will also be made to the Northwest Indiana Solid Waste District board of directors.
The joint meeting will begin at 6 p.m. ET tonight, followed by the regular meeting of the Pulaski County Council.
The council will hear from EMS Director Natasha Daugherty regarding EMS staff shortages, a Matrix wage discussion, and a NIPSCO grant. Nathan Origer will discuss board appointments.
The council is expected to adopt Matrix revisions, update the Matrix rules, and adopt the updated employee handbook. Solar resolutions will also be reviewed.
Both meetings will be held at the Pulaski County Highway Garage at 1131 N. U.S. 35 in Winamac.
