Today is Giving Tuesday!

The Starke County Community Foundation’s Giving Tuesday event is planned for today (Tuesday, December 3) at the local office at 300 Keller Avenue in North Judson from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. CT with a catered lunch with 10-56 Brewing and Catering at noon CT.

Giving Tuesday is an international holiday that highlights local and global nonprofits that work year-round serving their communities.

This year, the Starke County Community Foundation’s Giving Tuesday campaign includes a $2 for $1 community fund matching initiative as well as a $1 for $1 match opportunity, where donations to all types of funds can be matched up to $500 per donor, per fund. Contributions can be made in person or online at nicf.org. The 2024 Hardesty Leadership in Philanthropy Award recipient will also be announced on Giving Tuesday!

If you’re unable to attend in person but would like to participate in the Giving Tuesday event, contact SCCF Director of Development Jacque Ryan at 574-772-3665 or starke@nicf.org.

The Community Foundation of Pulaski County is also participating in Giving Tuesday today (Tuesday, December 3).

This year, a gift to one of the Community Foundation of Pulaski County’s unrestricted Community Funds will be matched $2-to-$1, thanks to a generous grant from the Lilly Endowment Inc. GIFT VIII initiative. This means donors can triple the impact of their gift by investing in Pulaski County!

Giving Tuesday contributions may be made online at www.cfopc.org/donate or dropped off at the foundation office at 221 N. Monticello St., Winamac today during regular business hours.
