The North Judson Town Council members reorganized for the new year when they met Monday, January 6.
John Rowe was retained as Council President and Josh Brown was retained as Vice President for the year. Councilman Eric Lewandowski will be the council representative for the Police Department, Councilwoman Linda Banks will be the council representative of the Utility Department, and Joe Leszek will be the K-IRPC representative.
All positions were unanimously approved.
Letters of interest are being gathered for the position of Building Inspector as Nick Radtke is resigning from the position.
The Building Inspector inspects and enforces building, plumbing, energy, and mechanical codes, as well as local and state ordinances. Residential and commercial plan reviews are conducted by the Building Inspector. The position requires previous work experience performing building inspections, plan reviews, plan designs, construction management or related field. Construction experience as a general contractor or sub-contractor specializing in electrical, plumbing, or mechanical installations will be considered in lieu of inspection experience.
Letters of interest should be submitted to the North Judson Town Council in the Clerk-Treasurer’s Office at the North Judson Town Hall by Monday, January 20. Interviews will be scheduled for a week later.
