Pulaski County Commissioners to Meet Today

The Pulaski County Commissioners will meet today where they will discuss moratoriums on Battery Energy Storage Systems, carbon capture storage, data storage, and industrial solar.

They will also make appointments to the P.T.A.B.O.A. Board and consider the approval of a local match for a K-IRPC “Safe Streets for All” project in the amount of $9,125.

Treasurer Laura Wheeler will discuss the Board of Finance and a conflict of interest, while EMS Director Natasha Daugherty will discuss a new ambulance bid and building maintenance. Community Development Commission Executive Director Nathan Origer will present courthouse rehabilitation information, and the reopening the revolving loan program.

Niki Clemons from Soil and Water will discuss the government shut down policy, Building Commissioner Kayla Redweik will present the 2024 building and zoning review, and Highway Department Superintendent Gary Kruger will present a new truck purchase.

The Pulaski County Commissioners will meet at 8:30 a.m. ET today at the Pulaski County Highway Garage at 1131 N. U.S. 35 in Winamac.
