The Starke County Commissioners have issued a “yellow” level travel advisory which is the lowest level of travel advisory. The travel advisory was issued Tuesday, January 14 and they urge caution when traveling.
Starke County EMA Director Tori Chessor explained that the yellow level travel advisory means that routine travel or activities may be restricted in areas because of a hazardous situation and individuals should use caution or avoid those areas.
The advisory will be in effect until further notice.
