The Starke County Council members will meet where they will reorganize and make appointments as they meet for their first meeting of 2025 tonight.
A public hearing will be held to take public comments on additional appropriations.
Justin Risner will discuss alleged misconduct of a councilman, Councilwoman Cassandra Hine will present assorted issues, and Highway Department Superintendent Rachel Oesterreich will discuss a loader repair, roller quotes and the first Community Crossing Matching Grant round for the year. Auditor Michaelene Houston will discuss night meetings and a stipend, and IT Director Stanley Budd will have the IT assistant performance review.
The Starke County Council will meet at 6 p.m. CT tonight in the ground floor meeting room in the Starke County Annex No. 1 building at 53 E. Mound Street in Knox.
