The Town of Winamac has issued a system-wide freeze warning due to the colder temperatures.
It is recommended that all water and sewer customers, residential and commercial, leave the water run out of a cold water faucet located inside the home or business until further notice. The water should run in a small stream, about the size of a toothpick.
If the weather warms to above freezing, officials urge customers to keep running the water to prevent frozen pipes.
The town will issue a notice when the freeze warning comes to a close.
