The Washington Township Fire Department recently released yearly statistics for 2024.
Firefighters were called to 31 fire calls, 125 medical calls (including accidents), 7 calls for hazmat or gas leaks, 21 service calls for smoke detectors, 19 calls for mutual aid, 3 false alarms, and 3 special incidents which involve calls for missing people.
In total, there were 211 calls for the year.
