The Winterfest event begins today in the Town of Culver.
Today’s events include the ice sculpture tour throughout town, a rib eye steakdinner from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. ET at the Culver VFW Post 6919, couple’s canvas from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Handmade Happenings, the 6th annual father-daughter dance presented by the Kiwanis Club of Culver from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. ET at the Culver Elementary School Cafeteria, and karaoke and cocktails at the Lakeshore Grille at 9:30 p.m.
Saturday’s events include the ice sculpture tour, the Lions Club pancake breakfast from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. ET at the Train Depot, the Cupid’s Dart 5K and 1 mile at 8 a.m. ET at the Culver Beach Lodge, free community yoga class at 9 a.m. at Three Bird Layne, the indoor farmer’s market from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Culver-Union Township Public Library, a vase painting class at Handmade Happenings from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., and soup for the soul from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Culver Beach Lodge. Pick out a unique soup bowl hand crafted by a student at the Culver Community School Corporation and enjoy all you can eat soup, dessert and a drink for $10. Saturday’s main event features ice fights, a beer garden and s’mores from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Train Depot.
Sunday’s events include the ice sculpture tour, the polar plunge from noon to 2 p.m. ET at the Culver Beach (pre-registration is required) and a chili cook-off from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Culver Beach Lodge.
