A Grovertown man was arrested Tuesday, February 11 following a traffic stop on N. Michigan Street in Plymouth.
Marshall County Central Dispatch received a 911 of a man who was in the parking lot of Little Caesars in Plymouth reportedly having a medical episode. The man then came to and had left the area when a Plymouth officer made a traffic stop on the vehicle at the Speedway Gas Station, according to the report.
During the course of the investigation, police say 25-year-old Ozzy Wallin, of Grovertown, was checked through Standardized Field Sobriety Testing. Wallin was then transported to the hospital for a chemical test and subsequently and taken to the Marshall County Jail. Wallin where he was booked on preliminary charges of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated – controlled substance, and operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated – endangerment.
Wallin was given a court date with Marshall County Superior Court II for later in the month and was given a bond of $1,500.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
