The Oregon-Davis School Board members discussed control of the High School concession stand when they met last week.
Superintendent Bill Bennett told WKVI News that there were several members of the public in attendance during the meeting who cited concerns on how the concession stand was being used and handled by the Athletic Boosters. After those concerns were presented, Bennett said the board members voted that the corporation re-take control of the High School concession stand. Bennett stated that the board is looking into this matter and more information will be provided in a future meeting.
Additionally, the board voted to approve the 2025-2026 school calendar. The first day of school for students is August 6, 2025 and the last student day is Friday, May 25, 2026. He said the school calendar is similar to this year’s calendar. Fall break is the second week of October, Christmas break is two weeks, and spring break in 2026 will be March 27-April 3.
