Pulaski County Sheriff Releases 2024 Statistics

Pulaski County Sheriff Chris Schramm recently released the 2024 statistics from the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office.

In 2024, deputies of the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office logged 6,435 calls for service. Of those calls logged, 1,976 were traffic stops. Deputies handled 503 crashes last year.

The Detective Division was assigned to having a direct involvement in 224 calls in 2024.

The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office is down to one K-9 team as of January 1, 2025. In 2024, K-9 Tiko was attached in support of 178 calls for service. K-9 Bobby was attached in support 44 calls before his retirement.

Pulaski County Sheriff’s Deputies logged 429 field arrests in 2024 (A field arrest means that Pulaski County Law Enforcement established probable cause for a misdemeanor or felony offense.) Deputies engaged in 7 vehicle pursuits. There 25 counts of resisting arrest, and 5 counts of battery on an officer.

The Pulaski County Coroner’s Office worked with the Sheriff’s Office to cover 36 total death investigations last year with 1 homicide, 4 suicides, 4 motor vehicle accidents, 7 drug overdoses, 1 boating accident, and 18 by natural causes.

Pulaski County Dispatch logged 3,643 911 calls, 17,223 administrative calls, 1,589 EMS calls, 1,110 fire department/first responder calls, and 9 emergency management calls.

Additionally, the daily population was 79 inmates. The Pulaski County Justice Center generated $274,422.00 in 2024 holding Federal and Department of Corrections Inmates.
