The Knox City Council had a regular meeting this past Tuesday, March 25th, at 6pm. The meeting was conducted by Council Member Jeff Berg in Mayor Estok’s absence.
During the meeting, council members voted to approve and adopt an ordinance that will establish rules and fees for requests of police public records. They also approved a proposal from the Troyer Group for the Wythogan Park Land and Water Conservation Fund Grant Application.
Council members also noted during this meeting that the City of Knox will have leaf pickup during the first week of April and the first week of May; as well as stating that the City still conducts streetside brush pickup very Thursday in city limits, all year long.
Finally, council announced dates for Knox’s upcoming townwide yard sale, scheduled to take place May 15th, 16th, and 17th (a Thursday, Friday, and Saturday). During those 3 days, yard sale permits are not required in Knox, though it was noted that residents may purchase a yard sale sign from the city for $0.50.
The next City Council meeting will be held on April 8th, 2025.
