Culver’s 2025 Sidewalk Program Begins Today

The town of Culver is kicking off their 2025 Sidewalk Program today, Tuesday, April first, starting at 8am. The purpose of the program is for the town to work together with homeowners to get sidewalks replaced in Culver.

Under this program, after a homeowner has obtained a contractor, provided the town specs, and paid for sidewalk replacement in front of their home, the Town of Culver will reimburse the homeowner a set amount per foot of sidewalk and/or curb replaced. The amount reimbursed is set by the town council and is not a 50/50 program. This program is not meant for projects that have already been completed.

Those who would like to apply for reimbursement may do so by filling out an application online at in.gov/towns/culver/services. Applications will be accepted through July 1st or until the funds set aside for the program have been committed, whichever happens first. If a site qualifies for the program, the applicant will receive a letter from the clerk-treasurer confirming participation. Questions may be directed at Culver Town Hall for more information.
