
KNOX – According to a release from the City of Knox, City Water Department crews will begin flushing fire hydrants throughout the city beginning on Monday, April 14th and continue through Thursday, April 17th.
As a result of the hydrant flushing, wap water may appear brown. The water is safe to drink and can be cleared up by running cold water from a bathtub or outside faucet.
