
On April 3rd, the Indiana Department of Health announced that they would be offering free virtual courses for skilled nursing personnel working in long-term care settings.
The courses will be offered throughout the month of April with one course offered in May.
Course topics include pressure injury and prevention, emergency disaster management, and abuse and neglect prevention.
These courses are offered in partnership with the University of Indianapolis Center for Aging and Community, and funding comes from the Indiana Department of Health’s Civil Money Penalty funds.
