Knox Community High School recently shared some important upcoming dates in regards to finishing out the school year.
The musical Mamma Mia will be taking place this week at the high school auditorium, with opening night on Friday April 25th and the last show this Sunday, the 27th.
Knox’s Prom will take place on May 3rd and will be held at the Valparaiso University Harre Ballroom. The school reminded students that they must be present in school the day of May 2nd to be admitted into Prom.
There will be no school on May 5th, as it is a contingency day.
May 7th there will be a band concert at 7pm at the Weinberg gymnasium.
The week of May 12th has ceremonies Monday through Thursday; all taking place in the Knox High School Auditorium. Monday May 12th is Scholarship night at 7pm, and Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday will hold the Junior, Sophomore, and Freshman Awards respectively; each taking place at 12:45pm.
Seniors at Knox High School will take their final exams on May 22nd and 23rd. The Senior Breakfast will take place at 8am on May 28th; doubling as Senior computer turn-in time and Senior walkthrough, with Senior pics to follow at 9am. That evening at 6pm will be Senior Sunset.
Underclassmen will be taking their final exams on May 29th and 30th, with the 30th also being the last student day of school.
