Starke County Community Services recently shared their March food pantry statistics with the public.
They stated that in the month of March, the food pantry served 134 households that were comprised of 88 senior citizens, 125 adults aged 18-59, and 93 children aged 0-17.
According to the statistics, shared by Food Pantry Manager Jimmie Howard, the food pantry shared 6,135 pounds of food in the month of March.
Community Services is located at 311 East Culver Road in Knox, and they are open Monday trough Friday from 10am until 2pm.
Any Starke County resident can receive a 3-day supply of food from the food pantry once per month with a current proof of address.
