The Starke County Plan Commission will hold a regular meeting tomorrow, Wednesday May 14th. The meeting will take place at 5:30pm Central Time in the county government building, located at 53 East Mound Street in Knox.
Items on the agenda include a public hearing to consider an ordinance establishing a policy to allow members of the Planning Commission and Board of Zoning Appeals in Starke County to use electronic means of communication.
Under new and old business, the Commission will discuss a stop work order, an estimated budget, and coverage for inspections. They will hear a draft proposal and timeline for solar and battery ordinance updates, as well as discuss a zoning issue. There will be a report from the Code Enforcement Officer, as well as an end-of-the-month report from March of this year. After any other business from the board or public comments, the meeting will adjourn. The public is invited to attend this meeting. The next regular meeting for the Starke County Plan Commission will be on June 11th.
