Children’s Scavenger Hunt Hosted by Starke County Surveyor’s Office and Parks Department

The Starke County Surveyor’s Office has announced that they, in addition to the Starke County Parks Department, will be hosting a self-guided nature scavenger hunt for children throughout the month of May.

The hunt will take place at Starke County Forest, which is located at 10655 East Division Road in Knox.

Those wishing to join the scavenger hunt should stop by the Starke County Surveyor’s Office to pick up a scavenger hunt packet.

The Starke County Surveyor’s Office is located at the Starke County Government Building at 53 East Mound Street in Knox.

The Surveyor’s Office stated in their announcement that the first 100 children to pick up scavenger hunt packets will receive a free compass.

This hunt is open to children up to 12 years old who are Starke County residents.
