The Knox City Police Department announced on Saturday that Officer Matt Borkholder has graduated from the Northwest Indiana Law Enforcement Academny, or NILEA, Class 25-53.
The Police Department reported that Officer Borkholder successfully completed 16 weeks of academy training.
The training covered a range of law enforcement education including criminal law, defensive tactics, emergency vehicle operations, firearms training, and community policing.
Knox City Police Department congratulated Officer Borkholder and stated they looked forward to his continued service and dedication to the Knox community.
