According to a press release from the United States Attorney’s Office, a Michigan City Man has been sentenced to 17.5 years in prison after pleading guilty to distributing methamphetamine.
Timothy Hampton, 50 years old from Michigan City, was sentenced to 210 months in prison, followed by 5 years of supervised release.
According to court documents, Hampton distributed high-purity methamphetamine to buyers in August and September 2024. Additional methamphetamine, scales, and other drug paraphernalia was recovered during a search warrant executed at Hampton’s home.
