KNOX – According to an announcement from the Knox-Center Township Fire Department, on May 1st Engine 2 and Rescue 1 responded to a traffic accident on State Road 8 and Range Road northwest of Knox.
The accident involved a semi and an SUV. In order to remove the patients, Knox Fire Department members removed the driver’s side of the SUV. Two patients were transported from the scene by Starke County EMS for further treatment.
At the time of this report, the accident is still under investigation by the Starke County Sheriff’s Office.
