Multiple communities in the area will have the opportunity to participate in the National Association of Letter Carriers Stamp out Hunger Food Drive this weekend.
Members in participating communities should receive a postcard in their mailbox during the week this week.
The post card will have a plastic bag attached to it. The bag can be filled with non-perishable or canned food items and should be placed by your mailbox by 8am local time Saturday May 10th.
Your letter carrier or a volunteer will pick up your donation.
According to the Food Bank of Northern Indiana, Stamp Out Hunger is the nation’s largest one-day food drive.
