On Wednesday, the Starke County Public Library System along with the Indiana Department of Natural Resources shared that their Library of Things offers something called the Adventure Backpack State Park Pass.
This is a backpack that includes a State Park Pass. The pass provides free access to Indiana State Parks and State Forest recreation areas where entrance fees are charged.
You must have the bag with you for entry into the park, and the check-out is limited to 1 backpack per adult.
There are no holds or renewals on this item, which can be checked out for up to 7 days.
The Indiana Department of Natural Resources manages 24 state parks and two state forest recreation areas across Indiana.
