Food Bank of Northern Indiana has announced free food assistance days in July for Starke and La Porte Counties. These events will all be drive-up food assistance, including a mix of fresh produce, refrigerated, and shelf-stable groceries.
On Thursday, July 10th there will be food available at the Starke County Fairgrounds in Hamlet, from 10am to noon Central Time.
The following Thursday, July 17th, the Food Bank of Northern Indiana will be at Kingsford Heights Community Center, which is located at 515 Wayland Road, from 10am to noon Central Time.
The Thursday after that, July 21st, the Food Bank will be at Heartland Church in Knox, located at 6020 South 300 East. That event will be from 9am to 11am Central Time.
On the final Thursday in July, the 31st, there will be food available at San Pierre Town Park, located at 201 West Eliza Street in San Pierre, from 10am to noon Central Time.
All events are first come, first served and while supplies last.
