
The Knox Parks and Recreation will hold a regular monthly board meeting this Monday, June 23rd.
The meeting will take place at 5:30pm Central Time at Knox city Hall. City Hall is located at 101 West Washington Street.
After a call to order and the consideration for approval of minutes from the May 28th meeting, there will be a section for public comment.
Following will be presentation of financials. Under the Old Business portion of the agenda, the Parks and Rec board will discuss trying to obtain diagrams for old playground equipment, they will receive information about the skate park, and there will be an update on gates for Field 3, which are picked up and will be installed soon.
Under New Business, the Park Board will discuss new employee hire, Nathan Salyers. They will also talk about slats for the pickle ball courts, and revisit the contract for the concession by the baseball fields 2-3. The board will also discuss the need for softball and baseball schedules.
After the Activity Director’s report, Superintendent’s report, and a section for board member comments, the meeting will be adjourned.
