The Kankakee-Iroquois Regional Planning Commission is seeking community input for creating a Safety Action Plan for our area.
Getting community input is an important part of the process in order for our communities to receive the best safety measures.
The Kankakee-Iroquois Regional Planning Commission serves Benton, Carroll, Jasper, Newton, Pulaski, Starke, Warren, and White Counties.
The action plan will fall under the Safe Streets and Roads for All grant program which is meant to enhance safety on rural roads. The survey will help KIRPC understand public knowledge of these efforts, gauge support, and identify key safety concerns in the region.
