The Knox City Council will hold a work session followed by a regular meeting this upcoming Tuesday, July 22nd.
The meeting will take place at Knox City Hall, located at 101 West Washington Street. The Work session is scheduled to begin at 5pm Central Time, with the regular council meeting beginning at 6pm. The public is invited to attend this meeting.
After calling the meeting to order, any amendments to the agenda, and the approval of minutes, there will be a section of the meeting for citizen’s comments.
The Council will then have a first reading of an ordinance amending Ordinance 1074 of the municipal code to revise the time of regular council meetings.
Following will be discussion on a memorandum of understanding between the City of Knox and the Knox Gateway Incorporated.
Next, Council will hear reports from the Clerk-Treasurer and the mayor. Any additional council items will be addressed at that time, followed by the signing of vouchers before the meeting is adjourned.
