Next week there will be on-site vaccination clinics at all three public school sites in Starke County.
These on-site vaccination clinics are sponsored by the Indiana Department of Health. You can register beforehand, or walk in the day of the event. Vaccinations are available for individuals 3 years old and older. The individual who is getting vaccinated should have their immunization records with them.
North Judson San Pierre Schools will have theirs on Tuesday July 22nd, Oregon Davis will have theirs Wednesday July 23rd, and Knox will hold theirs Thursday July 24th.
Individuals with insurance, including Medicaid and Medicare, should bring their insurance information with them. Individuals who are uninsured or underinsured will not be charged for vaccines. It should be noted that the Shingles vaccine is only available for individuals who do have insurance. Any questions may be directed to mlayman@health.in.gov.
