According to the Pulaski County government, Pulaski County will soon be applying to the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs for a planning grant.
The grant will be used to fund the development of a new comprehensive plan for the community.
According to the county, the current plan has not been updated or overhauled since 2009 and needs to be addressed as a comprehensive plan serves as a road map for a community’s future development and addresses many, often interrelated, components of community growth.
Pulaski County residents are being asked to complete a brief survey to help provide important feedback to the county government that will help guide the county through the plan-development process. The answers given will help them prioritize issues and frame conversations to help develop the best comprehensive plan possible. The survey, meant for Pulaski County residents, can be found here.
