According to the Indiana Department of Transportation Northwest, as of 11:30am Central Time on Thursday July 17th, all lanes of State Road 10 are closed between CR 300 E and CR 350 E (west of U.S. 35) due to a large hazmat situation.
They stated that cleanup is expected to be ongoing through the day, possibly into the night. This is also part of our detour route for the U.S. 35 closure south of Knox.
The post said INDOT was working to coordinate an alternate detour.
