Knox Community Schools will hold a regular school board meeting this upcoming Monday, August 4th.
The meeting will take place at 6pm Central Time and will be held at the Administrative Office. This meeting is open to the public.
After the meeting is called to order and the pledge of allegiance the board will vote on adopting the agenda for the meeting, as well as on the minutes from their July 21st regular board meeting.
There will be a section of the meeting for public comment, followed by a personnel report that includes 2 resignations, 7 new hires, 1 transfer, and 2 extracurricular appointments.
The board will then hear the Treasurer’s report, the vendor usage report, and claims. The Superintendent will discuss with the board numerous revisions to NEOLA Policy, to be voted on at the next board meeting.
The Superintendent will also give an update to the board on the ongoing construction project at Knox High School. The Board will vote on fundraisers for the 25-26 school year, as well as the corporation-wide employee handbook. They will also hear an update on the Strategic Plan for the corporation.
After a section for public comments on items that are not on the agenda, and any comments or questions from the administrators and the board, the meeting will adjourn.
The next Knox School Corporation Board Meeting will be Monday, August 18th at 6pm Central Time.
