MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. (WNDU) – A man has been arrested and charged after another man was killed in a shooting this past weekend outside of a bar in Michigan City.
27-year-old Cevin Crawford of Michigan City has been charged with one count of murder in connection with the death of 25-year-old Dante Sellers of LaPorte.
The shooting happened early Sunday morning outside of Matey’s Bar. According to police, shots were fired after Sellers got into an argument at the bar.
Police say Crawford was arrested during a traffic stop on Tuesday night.
Crawford is being held in the LaPorte County Jail without bond. His initial court hearing is scheduled for Thursday morning.
