The Starke County Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a meeting tomorrow, August 13th. The meeting will take place at 6:30pm Central Time, or immediately following the Planning Commission meeting, whichever happens first. The meeting will be at 53 East Mound Street in Knox, at the Starke County Government building.
After the call to order, pledge of allegiance, and a discussion on approving the minutes from their July 9th regular meeting, the Board will vote on the appointment of a new Board of Zoning Appeals Attorney.
There are 2 public hearings scheduled during this meeting, one to consider a use variance to operate a butcher shop in North Judson, and another to consider a special exception request to build a Verizon cell phone tower in Hamlet.
There are no items under the old and new business section of the agenda, so after the public hearings the meeting will be adjourned.
