According to the Starke County Auditor, the Starke County Commissioners will hold an executive session this upcoming Tuesday, September 2nd at 4pm Central Time, followed by their regular meeting.
Both the executive session and regular meeting will take place at the Starke County Annex #1, located at 53 East Mound Street in Knox. The Executive Session is not open to the public. The subject of the Executive session falls under the Indiana Code for “Receiving information concerning an individual’s alleged misconduct.”
Following the executive session will be the regular Starke County Commissioners’ meeting. The agenda notes that this regular meeting would typically have been scheduled for Monday, but due to the Labor Day holiday, the meeting was scheduled for Tuesday instead. The meeting will begin at 5pm Central Time.
The first item on the agenda is a representative from 1st Choice Insurance with discussion on worker’s compensation insurance. Following vendor and payroll claims, as well as the approval of the minutes from their September 15th meeting and any other business that may come before the commissioners, the meeting will be adjourned.
